This restaurant design explores the narrative of Potsdamer Platz’s transformation from post-war devastation to a thriving cultural hub through the concept of “contrast.” The design juxtaposes past and present using robust materials like black marble, raw concrete, and copper finishes, alongside subtle Asian wallpapers and modern lighting. Spatial zoning divides areas such as bar, buffet, and dining into distinct yet cohesive experiences. The interior style is a contemporary fusion, merging industrial strength with heritage motifs to express unity, pride, and resilience through design.
